Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Forecast Manager to develop volume demand forecasts.

Support mechanisms to meet forecast accuracy targets and changes in customer needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Walmart for accurate forecasts.

Produce and analyze weekly results, trends, and provide insights for operational staffing and costs.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (engineering, economics, mathematics, statistics)

4+ years of professional experience in analytics, statistics, consulting or program / project management

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) and comfortable in analyzing large data sets

Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and ambiguous environment by combining analytical rigor and judgment

Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills and an ability to present and clearly communicate complex data, derive business insights and findings to non-experts

Experience using SQL to pull data from a database

3+ years of program or project management experience

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred

Master's degree in Predictive Analytics, Business, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or related field

Working knowledge of SQL or other analytical tools (R or Python) for conducting data analysis

Professional experience in forecasting or demand and supply planning
