Responsibilities

Lead statistical analysis and data management tasks for psychometric work.

Design standard operating procedures for analysis and quality assurance.

Create infrastructure for efficient workflows.

Work with data in a variety of formats including CSV and database tables.

Conduct statistical analyses such as descriptive statistics and multiple regression.

Design and conduct quality assurance procedures to ensure correct data and accurate results.

Document activities for data collection, analyses, and quality assurance.

Write research reports individually or in collaboration with others.

Present results to internal audiences.

Conduct literature reviews.

Attend statistical trainings and relevant professional development workshops.

Perform advanced statistical programming of data analyses such as classical item analysis, differential item functioning, IRT calibration and equating.

Mentor junior data analysts.

Develop automated reports.

Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, psychology, or education-related fields.

3+ years of experience in the field of educational assessment.

Skilled at Python, R, SAS, or other programs to analyze data.

Skilled at SQL, Postgres, Amazon Redshift, or other database systems.

Values diversity, fairness, honesty, transparency, open communication, and feedback.

Preferred

Experience working with 'Big Data' and cloud-based systems.
