Responsibilities
Work with Platform Lead, Product Management, Data Science, MLOps and TechOps to understand and refine service and data requirements, ensuring that services are in-line with architectural and operational needs.
As part of the Engineering Team, provide feature and service development and bug resolution for our server and data platforms.
Understand and contribute to our leveraging of AWS services. Evaluate and test new technologies to enhance ForMotiv’s offerings
Provide performance and reliability testing of services and data storage solutions.

Required
4 year computer science or related degree (highly recommended, but may be waived with relevant experience)
Strong mathematics and problem-solving skills
At least 1 year of Python experience is required. This position will spend a significant portion of time coding back-end services.
2 years of SQL experience with multiple dialects. Experience observing and managing database performance is a plus.
Self-motivated, proactive, organized and a willingness to learn.
You’re comfortable in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
Eagerness to wear multiple hats and lend a hand to your teammates when called upon
Preferred
Experience working with containers and other serverless technologies is highly desired.
Machine Learning or Data Science experience (not required but a plus)
