Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable data pipelines and workflows using DBT and Snowflake.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
Build and maintain data models in Snowflake to support analytical and operational reporting needs.
Optimize and tune Snowflake queries for performance and cost efficiency.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all data pipelines and systems.
Implement best practices for DBT projects, including version control, testing, and documentation.
Monitor and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure seamless data flow.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics.

Required
7 to 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
Proficient in DBT (Data Build Tool) and its implementation in modern data workflows.
Strong expertise in Snowflake and its features, including SnowSQL, Snowpipe, and performance tuning.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with complex query optimization.
Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred
Experience with Python or other programming languages for data manipulation and automation.
Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
