Responsibilities

Design and implement data models to capture vendor, service, and cost information.

Develop data pipelines and automations to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources (e.g., vendor portals, APIs, manual input).

Create data quality checks and validation rules to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Establish data governance policies and procedures to maintain data integrity and security.

Build automated workflows to streamline vendor onboarding and service provisioning processes.

Develop self-service tools and portals for Vendor Managers and Product Managers to access and manage vendor and service data.

Integrate Vendor Management data systems and processes with other systems and processes, such as order management and provisioning.

Develop methods to monitor performance of integrations with other systems/processes.

Generate insightful reports and dashboards to monitor vendor engagement automation efficiency and efficacy.

Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.

Provide data-driven recommendations to improve vendor management processes and decision-making.

Develop, maintain and own the execution of development roadmaps and features and stories within a scaled-agile framework (SAFe).

Participate in the Third Party Capital ART to define the scope and specific requirements for features to be developed by our core Engineering team.

Collaborate with other functions within Vendor Management, across other data management teams, delivery and support teams and product teams, and with vendors to understand current processes and data management systems and to establish requirements for enhancement.

Serve as the overall owner for the data systems and processes developed.
