Responsibilities
Leverage Airflow as the orchestration framework to build robust, automated data pipelines. Drive the productization of data solutions and standardize processes for scalability.
Architect and develop scalable data solutions to support large-scale, complex batch-processing environments.
Work closely with a collaborative team of experienced engineers. Contribute to code management, source control, QA processes, and strategic problem-solving with a software engineering mindset.
Implement automated QA checks to ensure the health and integrity of the data pipeline through regular monitoring and reporting.
Post-implementation, participate in customer kickoff meetings to understand their data needs. Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to enhance customer data integration.

Required
6-8+ years of experience in data-driven roles, with at least 3+ years as a Data Engineer.
Strong SQL skills (non-Microsoft SQL preferred). Experience with Vertica or PostgreSQL is best.
Proficient in Python for data engineering tasks.
Expertise in using Airflow for orchestration.
Familiarity with Confluence for documentation.
Hands-on experience in on-prem environments (cloud experience is not required).
Experience in B2B industries, particularly working with complex data sets (Healthcare experience is a plus).
Source control and QA process experience with a software engineering mindset.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to defend your decisions and engage in discussions.
Collaborative mindset—able to work well in a team, participate in daily standups, and contribute to ongoing teamwork across the organization.
Enthusiastic about learning and mentoring, with a desire to grow with the team and contribute to its success.
Preferred
Linux experience.
Experience with data modeling and understanding data connections and architecture at a strategic level.
