Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing data from diverse sources.
Define and enforce best practices for data modeling to support analytics and reporting requirements.
Integrate and manage streaming data pipelines to process and analyze data.
Implement robust data validation and quality assurance processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data.
Optimize database queries and storage solutions (e.g., partitioning, indexing, caching) for faster data retrieval and reduced costs.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, driving the adoption of new tools and methodologies.

Required
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on building data pipelines and working alongside application engineering teams.
5+ Proficiency in SQL and experience with modern ETL/ELT tools
5+ Programming expertise in Python, or .NET.
2+ years of experience with Snowflake
2+ Experience with data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis)
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in developing or consuming APIs for data integration
Detail-oriented, with a focus on code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advise and guide others effectively.
