Responsibilities

Senior Data Quality Engineer will design and implement automated test frameworks and tools for the data platform

Develop testing practices to ensure defect-free releases

Collaborate with the QA team to understand and implement business requirements

Mentor the team on effective testing practices, including test-driven development

Use SQL to test ETL/data pipelines and develop data quality testing plans

As a Senior Data Quality Engineer, you will automate regression testing and integrate quality practices into the SDLC

Certify releases for quality and alignment with business requirements

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

5+ years of QA experience, preferably in data-related domains

Proficiency in SQL and Spark SQL

Experience building automated test frameworks from scratch

Strong experience in programming languages like Python or PySpark

Experience with ETL/ELT testing and cloud data platforms

Expert level experience in Databricks for testing data quality and business requirements

Strong understanding of QA tools and agile development practices

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Ability to lead and influence change within teams
