Responsibilities
Design and implement machine learning models to extract insights from extensive datasets of illness signals and consumer behavior.
Maintain and improve illness signals through advanced data processing and analysis techniques.
Develop and refine predictive analytics and statistical models to enhance illness forecasting.
Translate complex epidemiological and consumer behavior insights into clear, actionable recommendations for clients.
Work with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform and execute product strategy.
Develop prototypes for new features leveraging illness signals.
Serve as a domain expert on the team for all related questions.

Required
Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Epidemiology, or a related field.
Over 5 years in data science roles, with a preference for health tech, retail analytics, wearable technology, or digital therapeutics.
Proficient in Python and SQL, with experience in machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling, especially in time-series analysis and forecasting.
Familiar with cloud computing platforms and containerization/orchestration tools like AWS, Docker, and Airflow.
Excellent at translating complex data into actionable insights for diverse clients.
Strong ability to connect data insights to product strategy, with a background in product management or close collaboration with product teams.
Understanding of retail and health-related industries.
