Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow data scientists to advance understanding of the customer.
Make predictions to improve products and experiences.
Design and measure experiments.
Drive insights in customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and loyalty through causal inference and experimentation methods.
Contribute to organizational maturity in data storytelling and best-in-class ML and statistical approaches.
Design product experiments to test business hypotheses, apply rigorous statistical analyses, and interpret results to draw impactful insights.

Required
Advanced degree preferred in a quantitative field, and a minimum of 4 years of industry experience.
Experience with exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis and testing, experiment design and model development, and knowledge of how to leverage these skills to solve complex business problems.
Expertise in causal inference.
Proficiency in programming languages (we use Python) and experience with data analysis and machine learning libraries (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Airflow, etc).
Strong SQL skills (we use Snowflake).
Experience with a data visualization tool (we use Tableau).
Demonstrated ability to learn and embrace new technologies, applications, and solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics to data scientists, engineers, and business partners.
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-based environment.
Experience as a technical lead and a passion for mentoring.
Preferred
Advanced degree preferred in a quantitative field.
