Responsibilities

Build and maintain data warehouse pipelines.
Provide guidance and standards for data pipelines to support data-driven decision making.
Use your knowledge of different programming languages to code and update data systems.
Act as a steward for the strategic data that is at the heart of Omnidian’s service offering and be an ambassador for data governance and security.
Contribute to and maintain Data Governance standards, processes and documentation.
Own security, scalability, recoverability, performance and availability of our structured and unstructured data platforms.
Contribute and adhere to ITIL and Information Security Processes and Procedures.
Provide backup support to our Information Security Analyst.

Required

2+ years building and optimizing data sets, 'big data' data pipelines, and architectures
Proven ability to perform root cause analysis on processes and data to identify improvement opportunities
Demonstrated experience with data transformation, workload management, and metadata
Familiarity with Data Governance concepts
Familiarity with various database platforms and the use cases for each

Preferred

Experience working with Cloud-based infrastructure
Database administration experience for structured and/or unstructured big data platforms
Experience with data migration projects
Experience designing, implementing, and testing disaster recovery strategies for data hosted in the cloud
Experience supporting CICD pipelines
