Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain stored procedures, functions, and scripts to support key database operations.

Investigate and troubleshoot data discrepancies, delivering solutions quickly and effectively.

Analyze application data, create sanity-checking scripts, and ensure data integrity across all platforms.

Collaborate with the team to implement best practices in database management and performance tuning.

Utilize SQL Server, SSIS, and other reporting tools for seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

Leverage AWS services for cloud-based data management and solutions.

Conduct performance tuning of SQL queries and databases to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Design and build data models, reports, and dashboards using business intelligence tools.

Monitor and troubleshoot database performance using observability tools.

Automate manual processes and manage batch jobs, providing comprehensive reporting.

Provide off-hours support to ensure system availability and reliability when needed.

Identify areas for improvement and proactively implement effective solutions.
