Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable C# and related Microsoft based applications, both on prem and in an Azure environment.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, security engineer, and team members to gather and define software requirements.
Develop applications utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio IDE, SQL Server Management Studio, Azure developer tools and Team Foundation Server.
Provide technical leadership by guiding junior and mid-level developers and conducting code reviews.
Implement best practices in software development including design patterns, unit testing, and continuous integration.
Optimize application performance through code tuning, refactoring, and enhancing existing systems.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in C# and .NET development, recommending and implementing modern practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to application development, security, and performance.

Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of professional experience developing applications in C#/.NET.
Strong experience with ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API for building web-based applications.
Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) certification.
In-depth understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture principles.
Experience with SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Have prior experience working on compliance with section 508 accessibility controls.
Have prior experience in frontend development.
Ability to work independently and conduct self-directed research if needed.
Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.
Preferred
Experience with MS Power Apps.
Fast Learner with strong analytical skills.
Azure experience.
