Responsibilities

Report to Engineering Leadership (Director of Engineering, CTO)

Work remotely, with occasional need to travel

Work closely with CTO and engineering leadership to define roadmaps and priorities for the SiteCapture cloud infrastructure

Manage, maintain and evolve the SiteCapture infrastructure in AWS including Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, SES, ECS, IAM, WAF, SNS Cloudwatch and more using terraform and infrastructure as code (IAC) paradigm

Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance and best experience for SiteCapture customers and users

Establish and enforce cloud security best practices to ensure the integrity and safety of data and applications

Monitor all infrastructure and be first responder to any warnings, alarms or reported incidents in our production and developer environments

Work closely with developers and QA teams on providing productive environments

Manage build and deploy and CI/CD processes with AWS Codebuild and GitHub actions

Required

10+ years cloud engineering, devops, systems engineering experience

5+ years working with core AWS technologies including Elastic Beanstalk, ECS, RDS, EC2, Cloudwatch, IAM, Codebuild, S3, SES, Load Balancers, SNS, WAF, AWS networking with VPCs and more

5+ years of experience in infrastructure as code using Terraform

3+ years of cloud security experiencing and compliance with SOC 2 or other security standards

3+ years as first responder to warnings, alarms and incident reports

Meticulous and very detail oriented with respect to managing changes to the infrastructure

A positive attitude and desire to continuously improve

BS in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent
