Responsibilities
Automate the deployment of a new software platform using best practices and tools.
Ensure the software platform operates efficiently, securely, and at scale.
Apply the newest tools and techniques to make complex software environments run successfully.
Build and operate AWS environments, including creating custom AMIs.
Secure and operate Kubernetes clusters.
Set up infrastructure as code, CI/CD, monitoring, and logging.

Required
Strong system administrator experience for Linux based systems
Experience packaging and deploying systems with Python backends and React frontend
Understanding of Docker and building optimized, production ready images
Knowledge of packaging helm charts for Kubernetes deployment
Experience setting up infrastructure as code, CI/CD, monitoring, logging - must have
Securing & operating Kubernetes clusters
Experience building and operating AWS environments, including creating custom AMIs
Preferred
Working knowledge of Apache Spark or other big data technologies
