Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS.
CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.
Monitoring & Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of the production environment.
Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment processes.
Security: Ensure the security and compliance of the infrastructure and applications, including managing IAM roles, security groups, and encryption.
Database Management: Manage and optimize databases, including RDS, Aurora, and OpenSearch.
AWS Service Catalog: Utilize AWS Service Catalog to manage and deploy AWS resources.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of new features and updates.
Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of the infrastructure.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the infrastructure, processes, and procedures.

Required
Bachelor’s or associate degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on managing production SaaS applications and/or production infrastructure on AWS.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and code repositories.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for learning new technologies and cloud services.
Deep understanding of AWS services, including Route 53, ACM, IPAM, EC2, S3, RDS, OpenSearch, ECS, Fargate, containers, Secrets Manager, KMS, Lambda, CloudFormation, Load Balancers, and more.
Proficiency with automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python and Bash.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
Experience managing PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, and OpenSearch.
Knowledge of AWS Service Catalog for managing and deploying AWS resources.
Understanding and experience with infrastructure as code, including Terraform and CloudFormation.
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a production environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar certifications are a plus.
CSSP is a plus but not required.
