Responsibilities
Lead the product delivery lifecycle, including representing Skillable product team internally, engaging with internal stakeholders and Skillable leadership on market trends and product strategy, partnering and influencing the development, launch, and continuous improvement of products.
Drive enhancements to existing products, ensuring they remain competitive, user-friendly, and aligned with business objectives.
Manage technical debt to ensure long-term product stability and maintainability.
Prioritize and oversee initiatives to improve product performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
Develop, and implement processes to deliver on product and data commitments, ensuring product delivery milestones are met in support of broader company revenue goals.
Create strong partnerships to collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and QA teams in ensuring seamless integration of product vision into technical execution.
Establish and maintain a culture of quality, ensuring all products meet high standards for performance, usability, accessibility, and reliability.
Lead product teams to ensure timely delivery of products that exceed customer expectations.
Act as a coach, mentor and leader, inspiring and developing a high-performing product management and data engineering team members creating a talent pipeline for growth within the department and broader company.
In partnership with Product and Technical ELT members, align product delivery with the product strategy, roadmap and strategic business initiatives.
Collaborate with product operations to define, implement, and provide continuous improvement to the product development lifecycle and software development lifecycle.
Help guide and influence decisions with proven product and market data across all levels of the organization.
Represent Skillable during internal presentations and key meetings with internal stakeholders and customers. Assist in supporting industry events and conferences as requested.
Support and promote the company values through positive interactions with both internal and external partners and customers on a regular basis.
Other strategic business initiatives or cross-functional project involvement as required.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in product, engineering, or operations with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience mentoring and coaching others, cross-functionally and directly.
Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage technical debt and enhance product performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
Strong technical acumen, with a solid understanding of software development, architecture, and QA processes.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to foster collaboration with engineering, architecture, QA, and other stakeholders.
Proven ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality products in a timely and efficient manner.
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders across varying levels of the organization to achieve business goals.
Deep understanding of product metrics and data-driven decision-making.
Strong understanding of data systems and building data strategies, data engineering and analytics.
Experience navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex, high-stakes projects.
Naturally inquisitive with strong problem-solving and business analysis skills.
