Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, architects, and QA engineers.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the development team.
Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
Develop and execute the software development strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define technical priorities and project timelines.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Implement best practices for agile software development, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Coordinate with product management, UX/UI design, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Ensure the development and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure software solutions.
Conduct regular code reviews and provide guidance on coding standards, architecture, and best practices.
Resolve complex technical issues and make critical decisions regarding the software architecture and design.
May spend up to 20% of time writing code.
Establish and maintain high standards for software quality, including implementing automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment practices.
Ensure thorough documentation of software development processes, codebases, and systems.

Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience managing and scaling software development teams.
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Hands-on experience with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc).
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
Experience with cybersecurity best practices and ensuring software security.
