Responsibilities

You will curate, aggregate, and develop market insights to inform CE&S business strategy and priorities. You will develop and maintain a strategic vision for long-range planning, ensure alignment of initiatives to strategic direction, and recommend strategies to drive growth and synergies.

You will provide thought leadership and strategic thinking, drive the process to create and refine the strategy, OKRs, and execution plans, and measure and report on progress. You will co-create and facilitate decision-making on CE&S objectives and business priorities, develop assets to communicate the CE&S business strategy, and operate ongoing co-creation processes to define, measure, and communicate CE&S OKRs and strategic initiatives.

You will create, execute, and improve annual and always-on planning processes, facilitate executive alignment and decision-making, and develop FY business plans to enable CE&S objectives. You will ensure adherence to compliance policies and controls and serve as connective tissue with key stakeholders across Finance, CELA, and other areas. Additionally, you will leverage and incorporate Artificial Intelligence into strategy and planning processes.

As you manage key points of contact with internal teams, you will cultivate relationships with senior leaders, advise them using your domain expertise, and mentor junior colleagues. You will manage multiple strategy projects and teams across organizational boundaries, proactively identifying and addressing complex roadblocks.

You will drive a positive team culture by owning recruiting and onboarding efforts, providing coaching and apprenticeship, and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will also deliver external communications, facilitate external meetings, and engage with industry figures to share Microsoft's perspective.

As a manager, you will help employees develop skills through mentorship, establish performance expectations, ensure fair treatment, identify needs, set priorities, and partner with other teams on related deliverables.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience

OR Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 6+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience

OR equivalent experience.

2+ years of experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, and/or Finance.

2+ years of people management experience.

Preferred

Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 15+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience

OR Masters Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 12+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience

OR equivalent experience.

6+ years of experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, and/or Finance.

5+ years of people management experience.
