Responsibilities
Architects the enterprise platform
Build specifications for supporting the integration of technology components, services and APIs used by various applications within the ecosystem
Lead the technical vision and define the building blocks to maintain a technology roadmap
Create centralized datastore (single source of truth), reusable components and a reporting system that solves business problems
Assist in choosing the right products for solving business problems
Evaluate the technology stack to build and/or optimize an enterprise Immigration Case Management Solution
Understand and articulate how all parts of the business model work together including processes, operating systems, application architectures and infrastructure to create an overall solutions design
Review requirements and assess technology feasibility, risk, impact, level of support etc.
Analyze all non-functional requirements i.e. performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability of products
Work closely with Security leads to ensure compliance with security requirements
Manage data migration, application integration, and release management strategy
Collaborate with development teams to agree on the development process standards and deployment process
Work closely with Program Directors, Product Owners, workstream leads, and technical leads to identify dependencies and bridges gaps between business problems and technology solutions

Required
Approximately 10 years of experience in the IT field with strong solutions architecture focus
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or IT-related field; MBA preferred
Strong project management skills and management of development, maintenance, and support teams
An ability to constantly educate oneself and a passion for staying up to date with the latest technological advances
Diplomacy skills to negotiate what you feel is best for the firm's IT systems
An ability to liaise well with others and source information efficiently
Communication skills with people of all levels throughout the organization
Ability to research and predict the ways that different technologies can impact an organization's development
Proven experience in budgeting and P&L management
The ability to mentor others at various levels of the organization
An ability to respond well to constructive feedback
