Responsibilities
Lead Business Development Efforts: Identify and pursue new partnerships with population health, data analytics, prospective risk companies, healthcare payers, hospitals, health systems, ACOs, and other healthcare organizations, focusing on virtual solutions.
Form Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers across healthcare organizations. Secure partnerships that align with CareTalk Health’s vision and strategic objectives.
Understand Industry Metrics: Leverage in-depth knowledge of CMS Star Ratings, HEDIS scoring, and the financial implications of gaps in care on healthcare organizations. Position CareTalk Health’s solutions to address these gaps and improve Star Ratings, HEDIS scores, and overall performance in value-based care models.
Develop Customized Solutions: Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored virtual care offerings that meet the specific needs of each partner, addressing both clinical and financial objectives.
Negotiate Contracts: Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that support long-term partnerships.
Drive Revenue Growth: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs by securing new business, expanding existing partnerships, and identifying new revenue streams.
Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in virtual care, telehealth, and value-based care. Use insights to inform business development strategies and keep CareTalk Health at the forefront of industry innovations.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, operations, and clinical teams to ensure seamless execution of partnerships and delivery of virtual care solutions.

Required
7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within the healthcare industry, with a focus on population health, data analytics, prospective risk companies, payers, hospitals, health systems, and ACOs.
Proven track record in securing large, complex deals and strategic partnerships.
Deep understanding of CMS Star Ratings, HEDIS scoring, and the financial and clinical impact of gaps in care.
Strong grasp of value-based care models and the intersection between quality metrics, patient outcomes, and financial performance.
Familiarity with virtual care, telehealth, and digital health solutions.
Established, vast network of contacts across the healthcare industry, including relationships with senior executives in related space.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence C-suite executives and decision-makers.
Ability to translate complex healthcare concepts into simple and clear business propositions.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Preferred
An advanced degree (MBA, MHA, etc.) is a plus.
