Responsibilities
Lead the UX design, research, and writing functions for Eventbrite’s two-sided marketplace.
Oversee the overall craft and execution of the team, ensuring impactful customer experiences across Creator, Consumer, and Platform product areas.
Champion the importance of craft and cultivate a strong sense of community and culture within the team.
Inspire a team of high-performing creatives while fostering collaboration across product, engineering, and marketing teams to align on a unified vision for success for our customers.
Recognize and elevate craft, ensuring designs are polished, impactful, and user-centered.
Craft compelling narratives that connect design work to broader product strategy and business goals.
Tie design outcomes to product strategy, ensuring that customer experiences are both meaningful and aligned with organizational priorities.

Leverage and influence design systems to deliver cohesive and scalable solutions.

Required
Craft and Storytelling Expertise: An ability to recognize and elevate craft, ensuring designs are polished, impactful, and user-centered. Strong storytelling skills are essential, enabling you to craft compelling narratives that connect design work to broader product strategy and business goals.
Strategic Alignment: Proficient at tying design outcomes to product strategy, ensuring that customer experiences are both meaningful and aligned with organizational priorities.
Deep Understanding of the Product Development Lifecycle: Expertise in the full lifecycle of product development, including collaboration across product, design, engineering and overseeing and developing best in class processes for UX, research, and writing teams.
Design Systems: Experienced in leveraging and influencing design systems to deliver cohesive and scalable solutions. While this role does not drive the creation of design systems, you will collaborate effectively with the team responsible for maintaining and evolving them.
Collaboration and Communication: Skilled in working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams, ensuring alignment and seamless execution of shared goals through clear communication.
