Responsibilities
Be involved in system analysis, design, and development of small, medium, and large programming systems.
Participate in close group discussions with senior management to provide ideas to enhance the applications.
Lead teams to deliver net new initiatives, modify existing features, fix defects, and mentor/guide teams to deliver solutions on a timely manner with emphasis on quality and scalability.
Keep abreast of technological changes and innovations in the information systems field.
Develop solution options for system requirements.
Define and execute software design, development, and quality standards; control and improve operations by conducting analysis and recommending changes in processes, policies, and procedures.
Supervise Principal Software Engineers, Sr Software Engineers, and Sr Software Quality Assurance Analysts, who write, edit, and debug computer programs for assigned projects and/or maintenance items.
Utilize experience in designing solutions for specific business requirements, leading multiple teams, defining practices, processes, and outputs for solution architecture and design, and applying knowledge of application architecture principles and standards.

Required
Related degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience in system analysis, design, and development of small, medium, and large programming systems
Capability to analyze, design, and develop complex programming systems independently
Experience in leading teams to deliver net new initiatives, modify existing features, fix defects, and mentor/guide teams
Knowledge of technological changes and innovations in the information systems field
Experience in defining and executing software design, development, and quality standards
Supervisory experience over software engineers and quality assurance analysts
Experience in designing solutions for specific business requirements
Ability to work with team members to deliver user stories in a bug-free manner
Experience in assessing complex technical challenges and defining, implementing, and delivering solutions
Knowledge of application architecture principles and standards
Experience in improving operations by conducting analysis and recommending changes in processes, policies, and procedures
Understanding of legacy systems and their architecture
