Responsibilities

Assume responsibility for research project initiation, planning, and execution
Review economic and statistical literature for data and research methodology
Perform in-depth analysis of tax issues related to economics, transfer pricing, and valuation
Conduct studies on strategic initiatives such as globalization issues and tax shelters
Prepare detailed written materials and oral presentations for various audiences
Provide guidance to economists and professionals based on in-depth knowledge
Assist in developing and implementing transfer pricing administration

Required

Must be a U.S. Citizen or National and provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
Undergo a review of prior performance/conduct and an income tax verification.
Must successfully complete a background investigation, including a FBI criminal history record check (fingerprint check).
Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9.
Bachelor's or higher degree in economics that included at least 21 semester hours in economics and 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting, or calculus.
At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 13 level in resolving complex transfer pricing issues based on the principles set forth in the Internal Revenue Code ("IRC") Section 482, the regulations thereunder, court decisions, and the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Transfer Pricing Guidelines.
Consistently producing accurate technical work - both written and Excel-based financial and related modeling - that is in compliance with the principles set forth in IRC Section 482 and the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines.
