Responsibilities
Produce 3D electrical models using CADWorx or Plant3D.
Lead internal model reviews with stakeholders.
Provide oversight and mentor electrical drafters.
Coordinate with construction & operations personnel to scope projects properly.
Draft working drawings, wiring diagrams, wiring connection specifications, or cross-sections of underground cables, as required for instructions to installation crew.
Responsible for participating in feasibility studies; conceptual studies; process planning; project scoping; economic and alternative technology studies.
Contribute to project cost estimating and scheduling; procurement support and expediting; construction management; document management systems.
Participate in team meetings and keep active communication with customers and management.
Draw master sketches to scale showing relation of proposed installations to existing facilities and exact specifications and dimensions.
Will work with a project team lead where the team consists of other designers, drafters, construction personnel, and project specific engineering disciplines.
Explain drawings to production or construction teams and provide adjustments, as necessary.
Compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety regulatory requirements, applicable code, programs, policies and procedures.
Follow all KSI Engineering, Inc. safety, and customer policies and procedures.
Additional tasks as required.
Shall perform all physical and mental requirements listed.

Required
Proven experience in the use of CADWorx, Plant3D, or comparable programs.
Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
Experience working in design project teams.
Proficient with AutoCAD techniques and commands.
Ability to read and write in English.
Ability to comprehend and communicate instructions in English.
Ability to communicate with employees and various business partners in a professional and courteous manner.
Knowledge of technology (iPads, cellphones etc.).
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office.
Experience with CADWorx and/or Plant3D.
Advanced experience with AutoCAD.
Knowledge with As-builts, field surveys, panel design, wiring diagrams etc.
Must be detail oriented.
Problem solving skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
