Responsibilities
Project Estimating: Substation, electric, and civil projects.
Training and Support: Standardize estimating approaches and train the existing team.
Database Management: Organize and maintain a database of man hours, equipment prices, and labor costs.
Vendor and Sub-Contractor Coordination: Collaborate with managers to identify sub-contractors and material vendors, especially for EPC projects.
Bid Review Participation: Participate in bid review calls for both ACC level and corporate reviews.
Project Management: Manage substation projects and other EPC/specialized disciplines.
Technical and Administrative Support: Provide support to Project Managers and Region Managers.
Technical SME: Serve as a subject matter expert for proposals, customer interviews, and new business solicitations.
EPC Liaison: Act as a liaison for EPC projects.
Licensing: Manage state and various licensing requirements.
CADD Support: Provide support for as-builts, survey documentation, design, etc.
Provide PE stamps on drawings.
Environmental Compliance: Support civil groups and safety teams with project-specific environmental compliance.
Verify the accuracy of sub-contractor costs (e.g., tree trimming, flagging, and other services).
Travel as required, including extended periods and occasional evening and weekend work.

Required
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Extensive experience in electrical engineering and project management.
Strong skills in building proposals and estimates.
Ability to build and maintain a database for estimating purposes.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
