Responsibilities
Lead electrical engineering design activities on major projects in the United States.
Ability to lead projects in Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California, Texas, Colorado, Virginia, and Wyoming.
Design, model, and simulate electrical systems for hyperscale and AI data centers.
Develop electrical systems including power distribution, UPS, standby generators, and security systems.
Prepare engineering calculations, schematic designs, and detailed designs.
Create technical documentation for project execution, including design criteria and specifications.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to coordinate BIM models and resolve conflicts.
Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with engineering codes and safety standards.
Use BIM tools to construct electrical systems and coordinate with other disciplines virtually.
Manage and coordinate projects, including on-site supervision.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress.
Utilize laser scanning technology to document installation states.

Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Proficiency in BIM software (Autodesk Revit), CAD modeling tools, and other relevant engineering software (ETAB, SKM).
Strong understanding of electrical systems design, including power distribution, UPS systems, standby generators, and security systems.
Must be licensed in the US with current requirements for Texas, Virginia, California, Colorado, and Wyoming.
Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong project management abilities, including the coordination and supervision of on-site activities.
Willingness to travel frequently to client sites.
Ability to work from home.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred
Experience with data center projects or other large-scale industrial projects is a plus but not required.
