Responsibilities

Develop electrical system designs of a given project based on scope of work and/or client RFPs

Provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of electrical systems for a variety of market types

Conduct existing building surveys and documentation of existing HVAC systems

Develop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings

Lead project teams and serve as the primary contact for clients

Perform QA/QC of design work

Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineer

Electrical system designProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseAutoCADRevitMS OfficeDegree in electrical engineering

Required

8+ years of experience in the design of electrical systems for various types of facilities

Professional Engineer (PE) license required

Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and MS Office

Knowledge and understanding of codes, standards, and design guidelines

Ability to lead a team and supervise team member contributions

Excellent communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field required.
