Responsibilities
Develop technology and transition initiatives in electric power systems, working alongside prestigious industry programs and universities
Engage in digital engineering, modeling, and simulation (M&S) including a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approach for acceleration of engineering design
Verify technologies against military performance requirements and standards to support military concept of operations (CONOPS)
Technically manage stakeholders and subcontracted teammates including industrial manufacturers, university research programs, and laboratories
Take ownership from start to finish in a principal investigator role: propose, plan, direct technical execution, and deliver while coordinating the efforts of engineering, drafting, technical writing, management, and the back office
Perform technology demonstrations, qualification programs, requirements development, system design integration, design space exploration or analysis of alternatives studies, installation evaluations
Develop strategies for engineering program growth and development and execute
Participate and present at conferences, symposiums, and exhibitions

Required
Bachelor of Science in electrical or systems engineering; M.S. or Ph.D. engineering degree preferred
7 or more years of engineering experience
Ability to obtain a Top Secret level clearance
Up to 20% travel
Writing experience with white papers, publications, and proposals
Experience leading technology development for new product introduction
Familiarity with business development engineering strategy and capture management
