Responsibilities

• Endpoint and AVD Management: Configure and manage endpoints using Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, MDM/MAM strategies, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, ensuring seamless deployment, updates, and security compliance.

• Patching and Compliance: Oversee OS and third-party patch management, implement and manage patching cycles, and ensure compliance across diverse environments, including AVD sessions.

• Azure Integration: Collaborate with Azure architects and engineers to optimize endpoint and AVD solutions within Azure environments, integrating with Azure Active Directory and other related services.

• Security and Threat Management: Utilize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to proactively monitor, detect, and respond to threats; apply best practices to enhance endpoint and AVD session security posture.

• Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM): Design and implement RMM strategies to improve visibility, management, and automation of endpoint and AVD processes.

• Automation and Scripting: Develop scripts (PowerShell, etc.) to automate routine tasks, streamline endpoint and AVD management, and improve system reliability and efficiency.

• Policy Development: Create and maintain security policies for MDM, MAM, and AVD that align with organizational compliance and security requirements.

• User Support and Training: Serve as a senior resource for endpoint- and AVD-related issues, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with support teams to ensure smooth operation and troubleshooting.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear, detailed documentation and provide regular reporting on endpoint health, AVD performance, compliance, and security.
