Responsibilities

System Design: Design and implement complex features or entire systems, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.

Architectural Leadership: Drive key architectural decisions, balancing trade-offs in scalability, performance, and security.

Mentorship: Guide junior and mid-level engineers by providing constructive feedback on code, development practices, and growth opportunities.

Lead by Example: Set high standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and effective communication.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align on goals and priorities.

Problem Solving: Debug and resolve complex technical challenges, taking ownership of critical issues as they arise.

Required

Prior experience in a similar role, demonstrating ability to think strategically while working hands-on to solve complex problems.

Experience with system design and software architecture.

3–5 years of hands-on experience with low-level networking technologies (e.g., p2p, distributed systems, blockchain). Experience exclusively with smart contracts is insufficient.

Ability to lead technical efforts, including coding, reviewing PRs, writing specifications, and facilitating technical discussions.

Ability to debug and resolve complex technical challenges, taking ownership of critical issues as they arise.

Strong communication skills to work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align on goals and priorities.
