Responsibilities
Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of engineering projects, products, or systems from inception to completion.
Ensure alignment with strategic objectives, technical requirements, and customer needs.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians.
Foster collaboration, innovation, and excellence in execution.
Conduct in-depth research, analysis, and feasibility studies to evaluate technical challenges, opportunities, and risks.
Develop innovative solutions or enhancements.
Use advanced engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, models, simulations, and technical documentation.
Ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with standards and regulations.
Lead the execution of experiments, tests, and analyses to validate design concepts.
Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.
Implement corrective actions as needed.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, cost reduction, and performance enhancement.
Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices in engineering disciplines.
Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering professional development.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in engineering, product development, or a related role.
Proven track record of success in leading complex engineering projects and initiatives.
Expertise in engineering principles, theories, and methodologies.
Ability to solve technical problems and develop innovative solutions.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as CAD/CAM, simulation, and analysis software.
Ability to interpret and analyze complex engineering data.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to drive results, manage priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred
Master's degree or Ph.D. in Engineering or related field.
Professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent certification.
Extensive experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace).
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards.
Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software.
Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
Previous experience in mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
Fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
