Responsibilities
Management and delivery of geological field investigations, analyses, consulting reporting, and design evaluations for various business sectors
Build internal and external client relationships and lead proposal efforts for ground investigation and geohazards evaluations
Manage subconsultants and subcontractors for ground investigation services
Supervise a team of geologists and geotechnical engineers for geotechnical investigations and services
Coordinate geotechnical delivery in the West Unit market and engage with the geo community
Develop and supervise a team to enhance global capacity in engineering geological and geotechnical design

Required
Master’s degree in engineering geology, geology, civil or geotechnical engineering (Bachelor’s considered)
Strong interpersonal skills, record of client engagement to deliver geological design and consulting, and ability to communicate results to a diverse audience that may comprise a non-geoprofessional audience, technically-oriented clients, other practitioners and researchers
Professional geologist (PG) license in California or ability to obtain one within 6 months, Certified Engineering Geologist (CEG) license in California or ability to obtain one
10+ years of experience in engineering geology consulting (not including education)
Proficient use of geological skills and software (e.g. GIS, CRSP, Rocscience, RockWorks, LeapFrog, GeoStudio packages/Slide, stereonets, modflow)
Proven track record in designing engineering geological solutions
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
