Responsibilities
Lead and nurture a team of high-impact engineers, offering guidance in both technical and cultural aspects.
Provide regular coaching and technical mentorship to your immediate team as well as contribute to the broader engineering department's growth.
Assume direct responsibility for ensuring the quality and timely delivery of the team's work, while overseeing the availability and performance of critical services.
Managing software and tooling to facilitate greater automation, support, scalability, and operability of services.
Collaborate closely with management and product teams to plan, estimate, and prioritize roadmap objectives, identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
Use data to understand the availability, reliability, sustainability, and cost efficiency of our infrastructure and drive improvements.
Actively engage in systems hardening, compliance, and governance (e.g., SOC2, FedRAMP).
Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to set strategy, priorities, and mission for the Infrastructure team.

Required
5+ years of experience scaling and managing high-performance teams
Experience managing long-term roadmaps, driving technical projects and facilitating technical decisions and cross-functional team discussions
Managing and building environments on AWS or GCP
Experience with CI/CD, containers and/or virtualization, web servers, and databases.
Experience defining SLOs/SLIs and implementing monitoring, alerting, and runbooks.
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field
