Responsibilities

Lead initiatives to generate and engage with clients and partners to build new and repeat business for Buildings, Energy, and Infrastructure (BEI) in the Ohio market.

Work with BEI management to build strategic business development plans setting and meeting revenue growth targets and take ownership of their execution.

Develop a strong pipeline of new clients and partners through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting including marketing, outreach to clients to develop effective teams for proposals.

Help increase BEI’s presence at industry events, in person and online.

Provide feedback from clients and partners to help drive the service delivery roadmap.

Provide accurate and timely forecasts, funnel hygiene, and target updates to meet sales objectives.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with an active PE license.

Minimum 10 years of proven experience in client management to public and private sector clients in the construction industry.

Must have existing relationships with clients and demonstrated past success in building new client relationships.

Must possess a thorough understanding of the consulting engineering business and the leadership and business development skills to expand market share in the Buildings, Energy, and Infrastructure sector.

Must be able to communicate constructively with all levels within an organization.

Strong self-motivation, efficient and exemplary work ethic.

Travel up to 10% to company offices, client and partner locations, industry events, and other locations as required.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; must be high energy, motivated and a self-starter.
