Responsibilities

Lead site visits, surveys, and inspections, and collect data for wastewater treatment projects.

Analyze large data sets for wastewater operations parameters.

Participate in planning wastewater and municipal infrastructure projects.

Prepare studies, planning documents, and regulatory compliance reports.

Prepare permit applications at federal, state, and local levels.

Provide technical guidance on wastewater quality issues and future regulations.

Travel throughout Pennsylvania for project needs.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental engineering or related discipline

10-15 years of wastewater facility operations and maintenance experience

Strong technical background with design experience in wastewater collection systems, pump stations, wastewater treatment facilities, water distribution mains, storage tanks, and water treatment facilities

Water and wastewater agency experience; i.e., PADEP, SRBC, PennVEST, USDA, CFA, Counties, Municipalities and Municipal Authorities

Valid Class A and Class E Water Treatment Plant Operators License with all applicable subclasses or be able to obtain a license within a reasonable amount of time is strongly preferred

A demonstrated ability to foster relationships, communication skills, and technical engagement to implement strategic improvements in utility operations
