Senior Federal Capture Manager

Responsibilities
Lead the capture of high-value opportunities within the federal market, focusing on professional services and technology-driven solutions.
Regularly assess, prioritize, and refine the business development pipeline to ensure alignment with growth goals, market demands, and strategic initiatives.
Develop and implement a formal bid/no bid decision-making process that assesses risks, resource allocation, and strategic fit, ensuring that Presidio Federal pursues the most advantageous opportunities.
Conduct regular pipeline review meetings with senior leadership, business development, and capture teams to ensure transparency, alignment, and prioritization of key opportunities.
Serve as a key strategist, identifying and shaping opportunities to ensure Presidio Federal is positioned for success from the outset. Adjust capture strategies as needed based on early assessments.
Collaborate with Business Development teams to identify, qualify, and pursue federal contracting opportunities aligned with Presidio Federal’s growth strategy. Translate opportunities into actionable capture plans.
Oversee proposal development, ensuring compliance with requirements and alignment with customer needs. Collaborate with Proposal Managers to deliver winning proposals that are compelling and timely.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, industry partners, and subcontractors. Engage with partners to ensure collaborative approaches to capture opportunities.
Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to inform capture strategy and help differentiate Presidio Federal’s solutions in the market.
Work closely with internal technical teams and external partners to design innovative solutions that meet federal client needs, particularly in the areas of cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and managed IT services.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the capture process, including pricing, solution architecture, and proposal differentiators.
Lead efforts to expand Presidio Federal’s professional services offerings, especially in high-demand sectors such as cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and consulting.
Develop strategies to improve Presidio Federal’s success rate in winning competitive federal contracts.
Build relationships with technology partners and subcontractors to enhance Presidio Federal’s ability to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Establish a structured bid/no bid process and lead ongoing pipeline review meetings to ensure focus on the highest-value opportunities.
Lead the development of cutting-edge solutions that align with federal government needs, ensuring that Presidio Federal is positioned as a leader in IT and professional services.

Required
8-10 years of experience in federal capture management, business development, or related roles, with a proven track record of winning complex, multi-million-dollar federal contracts.
Experience in managing and refining a business development pipeline, including leading pipeline reviews, and establishing bid/no bid processes.
Expertise in professional services, particularly in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and managed services for federal clients.
Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government procurement processes.
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams through the capture lifecycle, from opportunity identification to contract award.
Ability to serve as an opportunity strategist, shaping pursuits and aligning resources for successful outcomes.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to senior stakeholders.
US Citizenship Required.
Must be able to obtain a Secret United States Government Security Clearance.
