Responsibilities

Support senior managers in business planning through accurate budgeting/forecasting

Consolidation of budget and monthly forecasts

Preparation of presentations to explain budget/forecast movements

Monthly report generation and improvement to meet business needs

Identify & lead process improvement

Continuously seek new ways to leverage business data to offer fresh insights and aid decision making

Support data pulls and generation for advanced financial analyses to support ad-hoc requests utilizing complex scenario planning

Report, analyze and proactively manage monthly financial results for and with the senior leadership team

Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Related Field required

3+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance

Good networking, team working and relationship management skills

Good business acumen; understands business implications of decisions

Good problem-solving skills and sound judgement

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to translate the details of Finance into their impact on the broad strategic vision

Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

Deadline oriented with excellent time management skills

Advanced Excel and modeling skills, while proficient in all MS Office programs

Must be sharp, high energy, results-driven, solution-oriented, focused and motivated, with decision-making capability.

Comfortable with fast-paced, demanding environment; adaptable to change

Preferred

Experience with PeopleSoft, Hyperion, Essbase is preferred

Experience in life sciences industry preferred
