Responsibilities
Analyzes business and financial data including industry trends to develop recommendations
Creates financial models or analysis to support decision making
Develops relevant reporting to communicate results to leadership
Assist in the creation of client deliverables and meet internal business needs.
Participate in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing business, operational, regulatory, and technology risks, as well as devising mitigation strategies.
Support the project team in proposing process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and risk reduction.
Ability to synthesize complex financial data into key variables to communicate accordingly

Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of experience in financial analysis or related role
Proficient knowledge of MS Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Significant knowledge of financial theory and valuation
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Understanding of business data and the ability to synthesize to communicate effectively across an organization
Proven track record of problem-solving and solution development
Ability to analyze problems and create solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize workload to manage multiple time sensitive deliverables
Financial data analysis and interpretation
Storytelling and presentation design
Problem-solving and critical thinking
Project management
Attention to detail
Self-motivation and proactive attitude
Preferred
Experience in the energy or utilities industry is a plus
Familiarity with financial services business models, products, and services
