Responsibilities

Proactively engage with cross-functional teams to drive the collection, comprehensive analysis, and strategic forecasting of financial and operational data. Take the lead in conducting insightful variance analyses, comparing actual performance against forecasted targets, and identifying actionable insights to optimize outcomes.
Provide direct support to operational business units by initiating in-depth analyses of both financial and operational data, actively identifying emerging trends, and delivering valuable insights to enhance company performance.
Anticipate and take ownership in the preparation of comprehensive operational reports tailored specifically for the Home Health and Home Care industry, emphasizing key performance indicators. Regularly collaborate with Operational Leaders, ensuring timely review and analysis of these reports on a monthly basis to drive informed decision-making and optimize operational efficiency.
Exhibit forward-thinking leadership in identifying and communicating actionable opportunities for both cost savings and revenue growth to operational stakeholders. Utilize comprehensive analysis of financial and operational data to pinpoint potential areas for optimization, fostering a culture of innovation and driving sustainable business growth.
Offer strategic recommendations to the executive team and operations leadership aimed at enhancing financial performance. Through thorough analysis and insight, present actionable suggestions for optimizing financial outcomes, driving profitability, and fostering sustainable growth across the organization.
Directly support the sales/revenue function as the liaison between operational leaders, the finance organization, and executive leadership.
Participate in the annual budgeting and quarterly/monthly re-forecasting process.
Develop and maintain detailed financial models to forecast future financial performance.
Assist in the development and delivery of financial reporting packages and lead financial and operational reviews of business units.
Prepare presentations to effectively communicate analytics, forecasts, and financial results to operational leadership and executive leadership.
Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in financial analysis and reporting for the Home Health and Homecare industry.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
3+ years of experience in financial and operational analysis, budgeting, and forecasting with a focus on the Home Health and Home Care industry preferred
Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI)
Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without 'dropping the ball'
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a 'roll up your sleeves' and 'win every day' mentality
Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and timeliness
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Travel requirements: 10% per month including overnight

Preferred

3+ years of experience in financial and operational analysis, budgeting, and forecasting with a focus on the Home Health and Home Care industry
Experience building and maintaining financial models and reporting packages in Adaptive Planning is highly preferred
Experience with Home Health-specific financial software (e.g. Homecare Homebase, AlayaCare, Axxess) preferred
General understanding of the Home Health and Home Care industry preferred
