Responsibilities
Manage all financial aspects of grants, including budgeting, accounting, reporting, and analysis
Collaborate with program managers to develop and monitor grant budgets
Set up and maintain grant budgets and activities in accounting software
Prepare monthly budget vs. actual reports, identify issues, and communicate with stakeholders
Audit grant accounting data, identify errors, compute accruals, and ensure documentation is sufficient for audit compliance
Ensure timely submission of financial reports required by grantors/government agencies
Review and monitor grant contractor and sub-recipient agreements, budgets, and reimbursements
Review and update Federal Internal Control and Procedures, as well as financial policies
Assist with annual budgeting, reforecasting financial projections, and month-end/year-end processes
Review grant agreement terms/conditions and set up new awards in systems
Process requests for grant amendments, budget reallocations, and extensions
Maintain comprehensive grant records, documentation, tracking logs, and audit requirements
Monitor milestone deliverables and deadlines for grants
Collaborate cross-functionally on grant financial administration and proposal development
Provide financial insight and analysis for high-value grant proposals

Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and grant administration
An in-depth understanding of the procurement, accounting and financial life cycle
Strong project management, multitasking, and prioritization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentations
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
Excellent project management, multitasking, and prioritization skills, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
A history of building effective relationships with business partners
Preferred
Experience in a non-profit or grant-awarding environment is strongly preferred
Semi-conductor design, innovation or manufacturing; manufacturing construction, or educational or vocational program design.
Experience implementing an ERP or other software solution
