Responsibilities

Prepare a complete range of cost analysis and cost management services including program cost and price analysis, budget development, detailed cost estimating, proposal price analysis, and data management.
Analyze project requirements and prepare budget estimates for all project phases using standard formats.
Support Budget Formulation efforts and prepare documents such as annual FAA Resource Planning Documents, Capital Investment Plan write-ups, and other financial planning data.
Provide budget shortfall analysis, write budget impact statements, and provide inputs for various briefings and data calls.

Required

Skills in acquisition strategy, budget monitoring, contract evaluation, cost management, and contract management, and an understanding of accounting techniques, including budget development and program cost control, contractor price formulation, and contract proposal price breakdowns
Knowledge of cost models; detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to organize and manage complex models; high-level proficiency with spreadsheets, reports, and other cost estimating software
Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize assignments and workload, execute tasks, and meet deadlines
Experience with the US Government budget and finance processes and systems
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
Must be living in the US three out of last five years
Local in the DMV area
At least 10 years of relevant work experience (ex: Management, Business, Economics, Finance, etc.)
Master's degree from an accredited institution in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related disciplines is required

Preferred

Prior experience with Federal budget formulation and execution
Strong writing skills
