Responsibilities
Monitor spending, hiring, and project progress to ensure capital projects are within approved budget.
Own the business case estimation and financial reporting process.
Provide support to technology teams within the business units and Finance by ensuring that investment case estimates are accurate, properly socialized, and reflect the needs/expectations of technology leaders.
Attend relevant investment case meetings with Business, Finance, and Tech leaders to provide updates on business cases in the pipeline.
Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Finance teams on business case estimation and approval.
Monitor capital spending to ensure alignment with budget and yearly CapDev allowance - at project and Business Unit levels.
Create and socialize metrics related to labor cost management (contractor costs, FTEs to P&L, resource needs) with the goal of reducing or containing cost of technology growth. Prepare capital and P&L metrics, including providing key insights into trends.
Collaborate with Cloud Business Office to drive best practices across the business unit.
Monitor cloud expenses across portfolios. Analyze cost and usage data to identify trends and manage implementation of cost-saving opportunities. Assist in creating and maintaining budgets for cloud services across multiple platforms within the business unit.
Develop reports, metrics, and models to analyze cloud costs and forecast future spend based on business needs. Help platform teams understand monthly spending and create reports to help them monitor costs.
Create and socialize metrics related to technology productivity increases from using AI tools and ServiceNow, etc.
Collaborate with technology optimization leads from other business units to facilitate the aggregation of finance data.

Required
Possess current and extensive experience in crafting and analyzing metrics and associated reporting
Technical and Analytical Skills: This person needs to be proficient in MS Excel and be able to pull data from different systems to perform analysis
