Responsibilities
Support software requirements elicitation for EV charger and energy products.
Design, develop and optimize firmware for EV charger products and energy products.
Develop and support software tools used for development and testing.
Develop unit tests and systems level tests to ensure the highest code quality.
Support and facilitate building, testing, debugging, and distribution of production-level software.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience (5-8 years) in developing firmware for EV charging or energy applications.
Proficient in C/C++ programming languages
Experience with embedded systems development
Familiarity with hardware design and testing
Familiarity with communication protocols OCPP, JSON, SOAP, CAN, Ethernet, SPI, and UART etc.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with Cyber / Cloud web security NIST standards is a plus
Preferred
Familiarity with industry-standard development and version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN).
Experience with charging cloud protocol (OCPP) is a plus.
Experience with charging protocols such as SAE 1772, ISO 15118 is a plus.
Experience with drivers for hardware components is a plus.
Experience with electric vehicle charging, power conversion or EMS is a plus.
Experience with Python is a plus.
Experience developing HMI with touch screen is a plus.
