Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Planning: Shape and refine the company's long-term financial strategy in partnership with executive leadership
Budgeting and Forecasting: Own the annual budget process, develop detailed forecasts, and monitor performance against goals, providing actionable recommendations
Performance Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess profitability, and uncover opportunities for operational improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to align financial strategies with business objectives and understand evolving needs
Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior leadership, translating complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations
Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales, marketing, and customer experience, creating dashboards to visualize performance (e.g., CAC, CAC payback, Magic Number)
Market Research: Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to drive strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of experience in corporate finance/FP&A roles
Expertise in SaaS or B2B subscription models
Solid understanding of accounting principles, corporate finance concepts, and fluency in translating between GAAP and non-GAAP financial metrics
Strong financial modeling skills with Excel/Google Sheets; ability to build models from scratch
Exceptional communication skills; ability to distill complex data into actionable insights via memos and presentations
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Preferred
Experience partnering with Go-to-Market teams and managing top-line business planning
Located in a West Coast or Mountain Time timezone
