Responsibilities

Develop and enhance front-end user interfaces for enterprise applications using the Angular TypeScript framework.

Transition existing Java/Eclipse-based UIs to modern, responsive designs.

Replace SOAP-based web services with RESTful APIs.

Migrate deployment environments from WebSphere to JBoss EAP.

Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment phases of the SDLC.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Create and maintain technical and design documentation.

Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.

Analyze software for performance tuning opportunities.

Employ contemporary testing methods to ensure error-free applications.

Provide support for testing, implementation, and production efforts.

Perform application support, defect repair, and reliability improvements for web-based Java applications.

Required

8+ years of hands-on experience in front-end/UI development for enterprise-class applications on JEE platforms.

Extensive experience in all phases of the SDLC.

Hands-on expertise with Java, JEE, REST/SOAP web services, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Typescript, Spring, Struts, JSON, XML, Maven, OpenAPI v3, OAuth, and related technologies.

Proficiency in building responsive, client-facing applications with modern frameworks such as Angular TypeScript.

Strong experience with RESTful services security using JWT and OAuth standards.

Expertise in reusable, testable components and modules.

Familiarity with application performance optimization techniques.
