Responsibilities

Develop and Test: Independently develop, configure, and test front-end code for feature development, collaborating with other developers and the Tech Lead to solve technical challenges and remove any impediments.

Engineering Excellence: Guide product development with engineering excellence and best coding practices, specifically in front-end development.

Design Collaboration: Participate in design review sessions to give feedback on technical feasibility, acceptance criteria, and testing for front-end features.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product Owners, Design Leads, and other partners on acceptance criteria, technical feasibility, and product feature details.

Test-Driven Development: Apply test-driven development practices using unit, integration, and automated end-to-end tests for front-end applications.

Team Support: Promote and unblock teams by streamlining processes such as code compilation, test execution, and artifact promotion across environments leading to production.

Mentorship: Coach peers on the tech team, specifically with code reviews and pair programming.

Required

3+ years of relevant experience with a master's degree or 5+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree

Required technical experience in React Native, React, TypeScript, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure DevOps

Experience with code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous deployment, scalable applications, and application security

Working knowledge of technical architecture, application landscape, test and deployment automation, and IT environment, and tools used in front-end development, deployment, and testing

Contribute to the development of plans, provide estimates, identify important milestones, and raise important issues such as technical contracts or resource needs, and propose alternative solutions

Experience in Agile Development (XP, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery)

Comfort with making architecture decisions at a team and product level
