Responsibilities
Play a key role in developing software features used by physicians and patients to monitor cardiac health
Play a key role in the development of the Eko Health web experience for healthcare professionals
Contribute to Eko’s API and integrations portfolio
Work collaboratively with other engineers as well as product, clinical, and software teams at Eko
Coach and mentor fellow engineers
Offer expertise in database design and best practices in software development

Required
5+ years as a software engineer
Experience with C#, Ruby on Rails, Vue or React, and AWS (specifically VPC, EC2, S3, CloudFormation, CloudFront, ElastiCache, and IAM)
Experience working on APIs consumed by both internal and external applications
Proficiency with JavaScript, CSS, Object-Oriented Programming and SQL
An in-depth understanding of common design patterns and anti-patterns
Excellent communication skills
Preferred
Experience with security and data protection
Experience with native browser APIs such as Canvas, Web Audio or Web Bluetooth
Experience with WebAssembly
Experience in Cloud Architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, Docker
Good understanding of HIPAA compliance
Familiarity with EHR systems
