Responsibilities

Prioritize customers + revenue by focusing on critical technical improvements and shipping quickly

Independently own and execute projects from planning to post-release upkeep

Write simple and easy-to-understand code following team patterns

Drive communication and success by proactively engaging with stakeholders

Master contextually complicated domains like ERPs, Supply Chain, and Cannabis industry

Cut scope intelligently to ship fast without compromising quality

Lead and manage projects to drive revenue and cost-effectiveness

Communicate effectively with different departments and customers to ensure clarity

Adapt to technical standards and patterns of the organization

Own and execute major features with speed, predictability, and quality

Initiate progress updates and timeline communication with the team

Handle edge cases efficiently in complex customer workflows

Learn the system proactively due to limited technical documentation

Ensure revenue impact in technical decisions and avoid unnecessary refactoring

Avoid bleeding-edge tech unless it significantly benefits revenue and productivity

Required

Full stack engineering (we use Elixir, Postgres, GraphQL, TypeScript, React). It's okay if you don't know our stack, but you should be confident in picking it up quickly

Experience working on big contextually complex applications

Experience owning and executing major features from start to finish, with speed & predictability

Experience writing high-quality code with effective test coverage

Experience proactively initiating progress and timeline updates with the rest of the team
