Responsibilities

Work with a group of top-tier engineers in a low-process environment powered by trust and autonomy

Drive decisions and consensus asynchronously with thoughtful documentation

Build new features from top to bottom…from UX to database

Required

5+ years of professional full-time in software engineering with a focus on full stack development

Advanced knowledge of React components, hooks, and lifecycle methods

Experience with complex state management using React Context, Redux, MobX, et cetera

Expert level CSS skills with experience implementing responsive designs

Experience maintaining and developing enterprise scale TypeScript applications

Experience designing and implementing backend APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)

Functional proficiency with any strongly typed language such as Scala, C#, Java, Go, Kotlin, et cetera

Experience working with gRPC/Protobuf

Proficiency working in multiple cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)

Solid problem-solving and debugging skills, with the tendency to want to automate repetitive tasks to make things easier going forward

A passion for writing testable code and testing it - Knows what to test, what not to test, and what kinds of tests matter in the front-end and the back-end
